Elliott Oil and Synchrony Financial "Check One Off Bucket List"

During the BPAMA Convention held in Miami, Synchrony Financial sponsored a Slot Car Racing competition.  It was a huge hit with customers and the winner received an all-expense paid trip for two to this year’s Indianapolis 500.   


    

The official winner was Andrew Woodard from Elliott Oil Company in Ottumwa, Iowa.  Andrew had a lot of help during the competition from his 8 year old daughter Augusta, who graciously accepted the prize on stage smiling from ear to ear and excited about the chance to go on a trip to Indianapolis to see a race with her Dad.
  Augusta has a close relative, Bruce, back in Ottumwa who has been battling cancer for a number of years and when she shared they won the trip he was thrilled.  Attending the Indy 500 has been on a bucket list for Bruce; when Augusta and her Dad, Andrew, learned of that they graciously offered their weekend race package to Bruce.

Bruce received notice a couple of days prior to leaving on the trip that he has been cleared of all cancer.
